Joe is a trial lawyer honored with the opportunity to stand up for those that cannot stand up for themselves. Life changes in countless ways when someone is seriously injured or a loved one is killed. When that injury, death, or loss results from someone else's carelessness or callousness, America's civil justice system provides a remedy. But going toe to toe with an insurance company, corporation, or some other wealthy defendant can feel overwhelming--even insurmountable at times.
Joe and his team at Babin Law fight to even the scales, negotiating a fair settlement or achieving a just verdict from a jury. To Joe, helping people who have been injured or suffered a loss through America's civil justice system is a vital component of protecting the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness--a promise found in the declaration of independence that we as a people are constantly trying to fulfill through progress, compassion, and empathy. After playing college basketball for Grove City College in Pennsylvania, Joe's ongoing journey to being a trial lawyer started at Texas Tech University before he began his legal career with a defense firm in Youngstown, Ohio, where he learned how insurance companies evaluate and defend injury claims.
Joe then spent several years practicing law with his father and brother in his hometown of Newark, Ohio, where he developed a personal injury practice dedicated to protecting and advocating for everyday people. Having the opportunity to learn from and practice law from his father was an honor, and Joe is excited to bring his experiences and skills to Babin Law, a firm that is dedicated to standing up for people against corporate greed and indifference. Family is an important part of Joe's life, and he and his beautiful wife have a growing family that keeps life exciting at all times. Joe also enjoys playing basketball and tennis, is always up for going for a run or bike ride, and loves pretty much all types of music.
