Ramona has wanted to be a lawyer since she was 9 years old. She loved to watch classic lawyer shows like Perry Mason and Law and Order. Ramona was captivated by how lawyers could use their skills and expertise in the courtroom to help people in need.
While attending Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas Ramona interned with the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and clerked with the Department of the Navy in Washington, D.C. After graduation Ramona worked for the Texas State Attorney General’s office practicing employment law and counseling state agencies including state court judges and state universities. During the course of her career, she has tried cases as both a defense and plaintiff’s attorney, which provides her a great perspective to assist her clients with their case.
During Ramona’s time as an attorney, she has worked for different governmental entities, and throughout those experiences understood that some people need a helping hand in securing the proper justice. She has been dedicated to supplying her expertise to those that need the most help. She is willing and able to fight for those who are not able to do so for themselves. Being an advocate is a significant joy in her life.
Ramona is a Louisiana native and has a great love for Cajun food. In her spare time, she loves to cook, read and spend time with her family.
