Additionally, Ms. Crowell has worked with and mentored lawyers in many litigations, including hernia mesh, metal-on-metal hip implants, Taxotere, Roundup litigation, sex trafficking, and sex abuse litigations. She has also had the honor of being appointed to the Bellwether trial teams and various committees for the In Re: Bard IVC Filters litigation, and worked on the state court consolidation for Bard IVC filters, in Maricopa County, Arizona. Through these roles, she has gained invaluable and unique experiences in mass tort litigations.
In her spare time, and through her efforts to establish King’s Foundation, in honor of her son Connor William, Ms. Crowell is dedicated to raising awareness of Leukodystrophies (a group of rare, progressive, genetic diseases affecting the brain and spinal cord).
She also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Ryan House, an amazing organization offering pediatric hospice, respite and palliative care for children with life-limiting and life-ending diseases.
Education
Ms. Crowell received her Juris Doctor from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. There, she was a Managing Editor and writer with the Arizona State Law Review. Her publications include Broad Discretion: A Choice in Applying Offensive Non-Mutual Collateral Estoppel, 40 Ariz. St. L.J. 1145 (2008).
Ms. Crowell performed her undergraduate work at the University of Arizona, where she graduated in just three years with bachelors degrees in science and art, with Honors, in economics with an emphasis in business management and political science.
